Rose Apodaca: Buyer/ Fashion Editor
Henri Myers and Lisa Elliot Rosas have long demonstrated a knack for zeroing in on accessory designers who are truly making a statement worth taking notice; with COEUR, the pair share their collective savvy with a showcase made for buyers, editors and stylists with little time but big expectations.
American Rag
Courtney Rotolo: Accessories Buyer
There are lot of brands already on my radar, but a lot of new discoveries, usually what I only see while in Europe. It’s nice to have all accessories under one roof as it was really convenient and well edited. There were also a lot of brands relevant to my customer, which is not typical these days of the other shows out there. There’s a lot of room for expansion in the home market and I saw quite a few merchandising opportunities between accessories and home. People aren’t buying homes, but making improvements on what they already have.

Wataru Iwata: Buying Agent
COEUR is concentrated on accessories and compact enough to give a private buying atmosphere, yet large enough to accommodate new designers and a chance to show their collections.
Des Kohan
Desiree Kohan: Owner/Buyer
Finally, Los Angeles has a show to be proud of; The COEUR trade show. More like a boutique approach to a trade show -hand selected and a very well edited selection of designers- which makes a buyers job a lot easier.
Fred Segal Trend/Parliament
Daniel Lipkin: Owner/Buyer

Christopher Rosen: Owner/Buyer
The show was cool because I was able to see stuff I wouldn’t normally see. The show gave certain brands the opportunity to gain exposure without getting lost in the melee of over sorted trade shows, especially for an environment like LA market which is short and quick.
Heist
Nilou Ghodsi: Owner/Buyer
The show was fresh in the sense that it was just accessories, home and gift items and this is something I haven’t seen before. A cool combination of brands and well manicured.

COEUR (French for "heart") is the West Coast's premier high-end women's fashion accessory and gift tradeshow that spotlights fine handbags, eyewear and jewelry straight from the hearts of national and internationally respected designers and contemporary labels. This twice-yearly event centers around a core (COEUR) of well-manicured collections featuring tasteful, classic and timeless pieces from established brands ideal for artful sophisticates, bohemians and targeted stores invited to attend.
COEUR is the heart of your personal aesthetic, enabling you to express the exceptional core of who you are. Whether bold or understated, elegant or deviant, our hand-picked adornments highlight the most arresting aspects of your appearance with innovative designs. Our presenters are chosen because of their dedication to their vision and ability to create key accessories that will prove to be lasting wardrobe items customers will treasure for years.
COEUR is held in the Cooper building located in the heart of downtown L.A.'s fashion district. The location has been populated by creative fashion designers and manufacturers since 1927. An online virtual tradeshow accompanies the live event, a first for L.A. Market Week.
We are happy to announce that for the first season of COEUR Los Angeles, we welcomed over 500 guests that attended and walked the premiere show with 400 stores listed over the three day event!
